Outsourcing firm may hire 600 agents
TACLOBAN,PHILIPPINES — Nasdaq-listed APAC Customer Services, Inc. is set to expand its operations here and hire additional workers to meet higher demand from clients.
JoeMar Tabarangao, general manager of APAC Leyte, said the company plans to build its own offices on a property adjacent to its leased facility within the Leyte Information and Communication Technology Park.
“We still have 100 more seats to fill in the first site. We are looking at building another site. Nothing is final yet but that is the plan. Maybe it’s another 500 to 600 people. If everything is finalized, it should happen within the year,” the company executive told BusinessWorld.
